Hi, I’m Zuzka, the founder of Braníček Children’s Club and Susie’s Babysitting agency, which has been helping families with childcare in Prague for over ten years.
I have been working with children for more than 15 years – as a preschool teacher, aunt, nanny, instructor, and mom of two.
I believe that every child needs peace, respect, and the space to grow at their own pace.
I have been working with children since I was young. I studied preschool teaching both in the Czech Republic (specializing in Preschool and Extra-curricular Pedagogy) and in the UK (Early Years, preparing for work with the British EYFS Framework). During my later studies at the University of Leeds, I worked for three years for an agency providing substitute teachers and assistants for preschools and primary schools. This allowed me to experience and work in dozens of different preschool facilities and see hundreds of different teaching approaches.
After spending 8 years in the UK, I returned to Prague. I worked at Park Lane International School for a while, but at the same time, I also founded my first project: Susie’s Babysitting. Eleven years later, in 2025, Braníček Children’s Club was born – a place that combines my love for children, English, and creativity.
