Do you have excellent English, enjoy working with children, and are looking for a flexible part-time job for a few hours a week to fit your current schedule or work? At our Braníček language school, we are currently expanding our team and are looking for partners to teach the little ones starting in September or October.
Forget about traditional sitting at desks and cramming vocabulary. We teach using the licensed Teddy Eddie method, which is built on the pure joy of discovering language. In the lessons, we sing, jump, dance, and perform theater. If such a lively and natural approach appeals to you, then we are looking for you!
Who is this part-time job ideal for?
This position is perfect as a stable extra income (up to part-time, if you wish and have the capacity):
- For students of English or pedagogy who want to gain great experience and certification.
- For experienced teachers who already teach a few hours elsewhere and want to fill their schedule.
- For anyone with another job.
How does it work here and what is good to know?
We want you to enjoy working with us, so we build on mutual agreement and flexibility.
- Afternoon hours: Lessons take place in the afternoon, so you have the morning completely free for your studies or main job.
- Where we teach: Teaching takes place directly in kindergartens (in Prague 2 and Prague 4) or in our own cozy facilities in Braníček.
- Number of lessons by agreement: It depends purely on your willingness and capacity. You can take just a few hours a week, or contract more – we will determine the scope together. However, you always have the certainty that you will teach in “your” kindergarten or with your group in Braníček. If you are sick, we will provide a substitute 🙂
- Collaboration: Opportunity to work on a contract (DPP) or freelance (IČO) basis in a small, community-based, and friendly environment under the guidance of Zuzi and Helen.
- Ready-made know-how: No long evenings spent coming up with preparations and materials. You will receive completely and detailed materials from us, and we will teach you everything in advance. You will also participate in various workshops with us, and if you are interested, also promotional events that we go to with our Teddy Eddie.
What do we need from you?
- Excellent knowledge of English and confidence in communication (we speak exclusively English with the children).
- A naturally energetic, creative personality and a positive attitude towards small children.
