Individual lessons for preschoolers
One-on-one time with a tutor (Zuzka – the club owner) just for your child in specially designed lessons that combine language with logic, creativity, and fine motor skills—all in a playful way that is natural for preschool children.
Why choose individual lessons?
- Personal approach – the tutor responds to the child’s strengths and weaknesses.
- Fast progress – the pace of learning is guided by the child’s needs, not the group.
- More space for communication – the child speaks and experiments without hesitation.
- Flexibility – lessons can be scheduled according to the family’s timetable.
- Supportive environment – a safe and friendly place where mistakes don’t matter and learning is a joy.
I build every session on a combination of English, logical thinking, and supporting sensory perception through creativity.
English
English opens up the world to children – and I help them discover it in a playful and natural way. Children can look forward to a playful introduction to the language – songs, rhymes, reading, simple conversation, and vocabulary building. The goal is for the child to feel confident in English and discover the joy of communication.
Math and Logic
I enjoy discovering the magic of mathematics with children in a playful and natural way. I believe that learning doesn't have to be boring and that math can be fun and meaningful. I guide children from 4 to 8 years old so that they gradually develop logical thinking and skills they will use not only in school but also in everyday life.
Creativity and Art Therapy
I see creativity as a natural way for children to express their emotions, process experiences, and discover themselves. I offer space for imagination and relaxation through painting, modeling, gluing, and sensorimotor activities that support the child's self-expression while developing fine motor skills.
Who will lead your child?
Hi, my name is Zuzka Hrubcová and I have been working with children for over 15 years. I studied preschool pedagogy not only in the Czech Republic but also in the UK, thanks to which I have a very unique combination of education and practice in both the Czech and British preschool education systems.
You can read more about my education, experience, and life journey below, but you might be more interested in how I work today.
In my work at Braníček, I combine the best of both worlds – a structured approach to skill development and, at the same time, a respectful, sensitive approach to each child as a unique individual.
I specialize in working in small groups or individually, where there is space to truly perceive the child, their pace, strengths, and areas where they need support.
The topic of children with different needs is also very close to my heart – whether it’s higher sensitivity, gifted children and their individual plans, or symptoms of children with ADHD. I myself was diagnosed with ADD a few years ago and I am the mother of a son with ADHD, who teaches me every day to see the world through his eyes, to look for new ways and adapt my approach so that the child feels accepted and can fully develop their potential.
In individual lessons, I therefore emphasize not only the development of key skills (speech and language play in both the native language and English, fine motor skills, development of logical thinking, communication, emotional regulation, and overall preschool readiness), but above all the relationship, trust, and joy of learning. I believe that children grow the most in a safe and supportive environment.
My education and professional path
I spent a total of 8 years in England. After completing the field of Early Years, during my subsequent bachelor’s studies (English as a Foreign Language), I worked for 3 years as a Supply Teacher for an educational agency that sent me to various British nursery and primary schools – both state and private, often to a different environment every week.
Thanks to this, I had the unique opportunity to get to know dozens of schools, different teaching styles, and approaches to children in practice, while gaining a deeper overview of how differently children can react to these approaches. Only today do I fully realize how exceptionally valuable this experience was.
After finishing my life stage in England, I spent about 2 years traveling through Southeast Asia. Subsequently, I worked as a Holiday Nanny in luxury resorts in the Austrian Alps, where I had the opportunity to care for the children of international clients.
This experience gave me a broader international perspective and valuable practice in working with families from different cultural backgrounds.
- After returning to Prague, I spent another 2 years at the prestigious international school Park Lane International School, in the Nursery class, which also teaches according to the British EYFS educational framework.
- Later, I also completed a TEFL course focused on teaching English to children for whom English is not their native language. Thanks to this, I can teach English naturally, in a playful way, and at the same time systematically so that children make real progress.
In 2025, I fulfilled my long-held dream and created a space where I can now fully develop everything I have learned on my journey.
It will be a great pleasure for me to guide your little explorers through one of the most important periods of their lives.
Every child is an original – and sometimes they need something completely different from others!
- I offer to design an individual lesson exactly according to your child's needs and interests.
- Whether you are looking for support in a specific area, the development of a specific talent, or gentle guidance in managing emotions or changes, together we will create a program that makes sense for your child. It can include:
- - individual English lessons
- - development of graphomotor skills and preparation for starting 1st grade
- - development of pre-mathematical skills and logic for gifted children,
- - sensory perception and emotional regulation through art activities, or
- - gentle learning of relaxation techniques for children with hyperactivity (ADHD), with which I have extensive personal experience.
- The goal is for the child to feel safe, develop with joy, and have the space to be themselves.
At Braníček, my goal is to offer individual lessons that allow children to develop naturally, with joy, and without the stress of a group, which does not suit all children.
Price of Individual Lessons
I design the lesson for you individually based on a consultation with you, so the price also corresponds to its content, length, and frequency. As a guide, you can expect a price of around 500 CZK per 60-minute lesson.
Write to me, I will be happy to prepare a tailor-made lesson for you
